Founded in 1910 as ALFA and then purchased by Nicola Romeo, Alfa Romeo
has become one of Italy's
best loved car manufacturers. Before WWII the company already enjoyed racing
successes, but when motor sport resumed after WWII, Alfa
Romeo soon proved to be the car to beat in GP events.
There is a wealth of cars
eligible for the ‘Legendary Circuits’, starting with the 1900 Sprint models and Giulietta S/SV/Spider from the 50’s, Giulia SS
, Giulietta SS, SZ, SZ2, Giulia and 2600
Spider,Giulia TZ, Duetto Spyder
from the 60’s.
Cars must comply
with FIA safety standards. Car carrying single roll bars may be raced in
open configuration, using the original windscreen, a full width and 8"
high windscreen or an aeroscreen. Full roll cages must be covered up, either by
using an hardtop or a softtop. FIA HTP Forms are helpful, but not compulsory.
